With its extraordinary landscape of gentle slopes filled with red and golden vines that shimmer in the sunlight, Mombaruzzo is Unesco World Heritage Site.
Highly appreciated for its wines, the coveted white truffle and fine cuisine, it is no wonder that this area is also a popular destination for gourmets. After dinner sip an espresso coffee or a local grappa, and taste Amaretti di Mombaruzzo pastries to warm up your heart and soul.
Surrounded by numerous historic buildings, the wine-producing village of Mombaruzzo lies between Nizza Monferrato and Acqui Terme. It extends over two hills, which are surrounded by vineyards and woods. The first hill, so called Basalone, is where Casa Nanda is located with a fantastic view on the second hill, Castello, the historical part of Mombaruzzo. Shops, pharmacy, bank, post office and restaurants are all within minutes walking distance. A train station is also available.
